Alberta Construction Safety Association Courses
The ACSA offers 25 classroom courses and 4 computer based (CBT) courses. The ACSA programs are developed and delivered by a team of experienced Safety Professionals, supported by an administrative staff. Our educational courses and programs are the result of the input, direction, and based on needs identified by industry practitioners.

AMHSA Health and Safety Courses
AMHSA offers approximately 25 courses to its regular members (municipal employers and workers) as well as to any employer who would like to join as an associate member. Courses offered: Activity or hazard specific (e.g. trenching safety), Managing health and safety (e.g. hazard assessments or inspections). Canadian Red Cross Workplace First Aid and CPR Training Courses
The Canadian Red Cross offers a wide variety of First Aid and CPR training courses to help workplaces be compliant with both federal and provincial/territorial OHS legislation – with the scheduling flexibility needed by decision-makers and the user-friendliness needed by course participants..

CSA OHS Courses
The Canadian Standards Association Learning Centre offers various OH&S seminars and workshops, including fall protection, respiratory protection, compressed breathing air and systems and office ergonomics. The CSA Learning Centre experts will guide you step-by-step through the applicable standards and show you how to apply the requirements in your workplace. 2007 Fall Program schedule now available.

Job Safety Skills for Young Workers
An extensive 3-credit, school-based safety education program with certification, consisting of three parts requiring approx. 25 hours of instruction: Personal Safety Management, Workplace Safety Practices, and Safety Management Systems. This program is designed to encourage and promote the development of a positive attitude toward safety. JobSafe gives youth a solid foundation for future workplace training.

Preventing Workplace Violence Seminar
WCB-Alberta offers a seminar for employers who are interested in developing a workplace violence prevention program. This course is offered in-house at the WCB Calgary and Edmonton office locations, but arrangements to bring this course to worksites will be considered as well.

St. John Ambulance First Aid and Safety Training
