January 2012 Labour Force Statistics
Alberta’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.9% in January 2012, unchanged from December 2011 and down 1.0 percentage point from the same month last year. This rate was the lowest among all the provinces in the country.February 3, 2012
