For Employers

Internationally skilled and educated workers add value to your workforce. The International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) can help your organization hire internationally-educated workers with confidence and help ensure an accurate and efficient candidate screening/recruitment process.

As an employer, you want to ensure you can recruit the people that fulfill the requirements of the position. That decision can be difficult when an applicant has educational credentials from an international institution – how does it to compare to Canadian education standards? IQAS can help.

  • IQAS assessment certificates simplify the recruitment process for employers by providing clear, accurate and reliable assessment certificates for potential candidates who have foreign educational credentials.

  • Assessment certificates are easy to read and understand. View Basic Assessment sample. IQAS recently updated the look of the applications for, assessments and supporting materials for consistent layout and colour – the previous versions remain valid.

  • IQAS can issue assessment certificates directly to employers and their human resource departments.

  • As an employer, you can explore IQAS’ Education Overview Guides. The Educational Overview Guides are an online resource that explains how international education credentials compare to Alberta educational credentials and standards. We currently have profiles available for 10 countries.
