Québec/Alberta Student Employment Exchange Program Guidelines
Program Objectives
The Québec and Alberta governments cooperate every year through the Québec/Alberta Student Employment Exchange Program, to hire post-secondary-degree students from Alberta and Québec for summer work placements. The program invites students to live, learn and work immersed in their second language for the summer.
The three primary objectives of the program are to provide:
-
a meaningful work experience related to the student's field of study;
-
the opportunity to enhance second-language skills; and
-
the opportunity to experience and learn about the culture of the other province.
Applying to the program
- Alberta students applying to work in Québec
- Québec students applying to work in Alberta
- Alberta employers wanting to hire Québec students
